For those who do not inexplicably have RSS feeds to the official Super Smash Bros. Brawl website like I do, one of the new stages is Smashville, an Animal Crossing-themed location. The crappily-done comic is based off an event that happens in that stage at a certain time, according to the site's info:

Edit: And why's Bowser so pissed off? No bells for tickets. True, K. K. Slider concerts are typically free...but you can understand why someone might have told Bowser otherwise, right? I mean, have you ever seen this guy in a mosh pit? Not a pretty sight.

Well, no actual Animal Crossing characters have actually been mentioned (said 'event' could be just that and not an active character joining in), so there's always the chance Tom Nook or someone else from AC could be announced to be either an Assist Trophy or a full-out character.
