Man, LOVE all the texture in this piece!! The blotched sky and the cross-hatching on the character just fill this image with so much detail-- and the way it builds up the heroic stance and stern face is just effortless. This is the kind of picture that grabs you when you look at it small, then floods you with rich detail when you look at it close. Very cool piece.
