This is a close shot from the layout built in Silver Spring. This pike continued my prior theme of 1970's Milwaukee Road. Here you see in the foreground pulled trackage with the left behind ties. I could have sworn that I had a shot from directly above that shows the former abandoned alignment of the crossover but I'm unable to locate it.
