heavily armored knight enemies always seem to go by different names in these games...
iron knuckles... darknuts... something else...
darknuts are my favorite enemies to fight in the later games like wind waker and twilight princess... god, they were so much fun to fight.
actually, all the bosses in twilight princess were very fun to fight... and the last battle with ganondorf just seemed so epic and dark to me.
i loved the classic games, but pixels can only do so much to add to the atmosphere.

i like the windwaker iron knuckles too,
the dog heads under the helmets. too cool.
and for me, i think 3D games take away from the imagination,
its like 3D forces you to see specifically what the artist is yelling at you
to look at, while pixels just give a hint and let the viewer decide for themselves.
but, thats just my opinion, but truthfully, i think Super Nintendo has come up with the
most imaginative scenarios and some of the scariest bosses Ive ever seen in a game console,
its like the bridge between too much 3D and pixel so its really like the best of both worlds
for me, i think a lot could agree with that considering how much fan made super nes stuff is out there
as an art form.
