Awhile ago, I was making igwulf versions of a few people's characters, starting with Viska, who was originally a pilot whale made by 
Evoc . A couple people noticed the dramatic variations between igwulf, though, and started to wonder if I was making special exceptions to their designs for them. As a result, when I made one for 
Sirfy, I decided to also make a list of their general physical features, colours, ETC.
Now, you too can make your very on igwulf following these design guidelines. As you can see, they can be rather varied. One thing of note is that differently coloured igwulf are more common in different places, though their adaptability means that they can all live just about anywhere (especially wooded areas). Red and green are most common, and generally thrive in the woods. Yellow tend to live in deserts and meadows. Blue are fairly uncommon, and tend to live closer to water.

Oh man, I love things like this-- where artists list the details of their species and stuff like that. I've always found them to be amazingly interesting.
I might have to draw one of these eventually, since they're just so-- so tempting to draw! ;0;
I basically made a character as I read through the submission, which I think means you did a great job with inspiring people and getting the information about igwulf's across!

I hear that. It does an amazing job of giving them a sort of life. :3 I actually have a whole small sketchbook that I've been filling up with stuff about the igwulf species, including cultural notes, language structure, ETC. Pity it's too much and too small pages to just scan... Also, I do not have a scanner. :/ Maybe I'll just streamline it all and remake it digitally some day.
You're more than free to make an igwulf if you feel so inclined. I'm ecstatic to hear that it's been so inspirational. ^^

Ooh...this is good to know, the part about commonness of certain colors and such. There were a fair number of igwulves for page one of the project, so I used the whole gamut of colors in a fair distribution. I gave the guard a greyish-blue which I feel fits his grizzled appearance, but besides him, I might recolor the two I made blue and yellow. And I'll make sure to keep the blue/yellow fellas at a minimum from now on, considering the setting is forest/plains if anything. (Might put one here or there depending on how 'populated' Frost makes the pages; after all, I'm sure immigrants and traders from other regions are entirely possible.)
Well, now I have a definite reason to inviting you to the streams. ^^; Would you mind coming by during my stream tonight? if you're not too busy, that is. I'm still coloring page 1, and I'd love to know if there's anything you'd like fixed. (I was debating quite a bit on the buildings...)
I'm going to get some rest very soon, so I'll be up in 8ish hours. <=3 And I'll likely hurry to start the stream after a shower so that it's not too late in the night for you or anyone else.

As for recolours, don't worry about it. That little note isn't worth the effort of recolouring two whole characters. X3
My class is from 7-10, so that's when I won't be around for streaming. Sounds like that might be exactly when you were planning it for, unfortunately... Of course, after 10, I'm perfectly free again. :P

...I haven't gone to bed yet... *droops; is a bad igwulfeon* I promise, I'm going to bed after I send this comment.
The characters were small background characters, and wouldn't be too much trouble to recolor. =3 They only appeared in one panel each too.
W-well, I can (and probably would've anyways) start this stream about the time you get out of your late class. ^^ That would be quite fine for me, and probably would work out best for me too. Since I'll be waking up at about 8...so 9, your time, about. Add in shower and getting settled into the computer, and it'll be 10 your time pretty easily at that point. =3 So it'll be perfect.
Also, I hope I didn't upset you last night. <=3 You left without saying goodbye. I'm guessing you just did that because you didn't want to bother me while streaming, but really, don't worry about that. ^^ You're not at all an interruption.
