This is the latest figure been tinkering with. One of the rapetillian queen, Alarice. I put her in for her final bake yesterday after I finished her bits of jewerly. I tweaked her necklace to something better looking and took apart some old jewerly bits i have in a bag of scrap and used that, they worked perfectly for her foot jewerly. I even had a band form an earring with just the right markings on it for the anklet parts, tried to get a photo with the detail of them, but didn't turn out that well. oh well, when painted will be able to see.

I usually use a 16 gauge wire I get from home depot. tighter you can get the foil the better it seems for me. you want to make the wire frame pretty thin since the foil and clay will bulk out the figure quite a bit. places it will be thicker (aka thighs, parts of the tail, and hips) just add more foil. while leaving joints, like knees and elbows, with less foil for easier bending while working on it.
Holy sh- OxO That's REALLY nicely made! How do you do that!? I can barely do pottery at times. XD
Anyways, I find this to be quite beautiful. Also, I'm impressed by not only the figure you made, but your ability to make it. You can do things like this AND draw art really well... What other talents have you been hiding from us, your loving fans? <,<
