"Kindrake had noticed that Amethyst was missing in the early morning when he had sneaked back into the Feron territory to snuggle her. He alerted the family before quickly taking off to find her. When the sun started to rise, he spotted Amethyst and landed near by.

He saw that she was just asleep and he sighed with relief. He started to walk closer but then paused when he noticed the two sleeping fluff balls next to Amethyst. He then smiled warmly when he realized they were cubs.... his cubs. He walked over to her and nuzzled Amethyst. "Amethyst, wake up." He purred. Amethyst yawned and opened her eyes before smiling when she saw Kindrake. "Hey." She purred and licked him.

He looked down at his two cubs. "They're beautiful like you." He commented. Amethyst purred some before looking down at her cubs. She then paused, realizing there were only two. She frowned and stood up, looking around for her other daughter. Not seeing her, she sat down and looked at Kindrake, upset. Kindrake knew something was wrong and he frowned. "...What is it?" He asked. "One of them is missing!" She exclaimed, starting to shake with worry.

His body tensed up before he shook his head. "...Maybe... it just woke up and crawled off.... It couldn't of gone far." He said before going to look around for the lost cub. While he was doing that, Amethyst's parents had caught up to them. Megan smiled when she saw the cubs but then frowned when she saw Amethyst's expression and Kindrake searching. She went over to comfort Amethyst and try to calm her down.

Kindrake started to get more and more upset the longer he searched and couldn't find any sign of the missing cub. He turned around and saw Megan with Amethyst and saw Van walking over to see the cubs. Kindrake suddenly leaped in front of Van, blocking his path. "This is all your fault!" He snarled at Van. "If you had just accepted me and not blown up at us, Amethyst wouldn't of ran off and give birth out of our safety and one of her cubs wouldn't of gone missing!" Kindrake snarled. "Is being a stubborn, close-minded, arrogant fool worth it now that you've hurt your daughter!?" He roared.

Van was startled by this and took a step back. Kindrake's words stung him, going through him like shards of ice. He looked over at his now sobbing daughter while his wife tried to comfort her before looking back at the very angry and upset Kindrake. Kindrake just snarled at him again before taking flight to continue searching for the missing cub. He wasn't about to mourn now. He had to believe the cub was still alive and he had to find it! "

I didn't use a ref for Van... I just drew him how I remember/imagine him since I feel it's appropriate that way since I'm telling the story |D I hope I didn't draw him too terribly.
