There is always a hole in a good plan - the thing to strike back to yourself.
I gave you life, and you stole mine.
I tried to gain a place much greater than mine,
but I lost the small space I had.
And everything is gone,
you are forgetting me,
I am the original,
or am I?
Were you there before afterall?
No, you were just a thought.
I was real, but I feel like I'm not anymore.
I drift into the darkness again
Can I be evil if I'm the one crying?
Is this what I was trying to do to others?
And she laughs,
"You should go and destroy them all",
but I know it's wrong,
but there is nothing else,
I should just be removed,
so no more mistake is made.
My happiness is broken,
there is no more hope inside,
as it's falling into pieces,
and I cry without tears.

The name refers to the jewel, which is named Happiness.

Hmm...
The artwork is awesome, just as it usually is, but what really has my attention is the story you're telling. I know a little bit about your fursonas and their back-stories, but I haven't thoroughly searched through your galleries to figure out everything about them (yet). I'm fascinated by Maia's struggle here, yet curious as to what exactly her plan with Maya was (I understand she intended to use her to control Neko's life or something? Does/did she have control over Maya before?). I'm also fascinated how the "story" kind of transcends a forth wall; not necessarily breaks it, but sidesteps it so that the elements of the story reflect your actual life (such as the fact you don't draw Maia nearly as much as your other fursonas nowadays).
I look forward to your next "installment", so to say, in this little series you've concocted.

Maia created Maya (a 'perfect' being, using herself as the sample), her meaning was to become better than Neko and knock her off - and then Maia would just destroy Maya away to gain control of Neko's life (because she doesn't have her own, but she once experienced how it would be).
However, Maya became a really careing and humble person, and everyone begun to love her. And things like "She's so much better than Maia" happend. So Maya basically stepped on the place where Maia used to be. The group has forgotten her because Maya is so awesome.
So basically Maya knocked off Maia and not Neko. Nao is one of the beings that infulenced and gave power for Maia to do this all - and Nao doesn't seem to have any point but to get good laughs at Maias failure.
The necklace broke because there was too much negative around it, it used to be a storage for happiness to keep Maia going happily like she usually shows as.
All of the parts don't reflect much about my real life anymore, since my life is now stable and happy, but I love making lots of emotion into drawings and interesting stories :3 But the story is infulenced a lot on how other people think of it, or minor things in life.
