Something that fell out of my files....the cyborging makes the dogs much more "effective", but the process is not without it's unpleasant side-effects. You can't blame a proud puppy mother for wanting something better for her beloved pup....

When I saw this I started thinking of the Fesner film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eA3XCvrK90
Dunno why, but hey, it works for me.

It's a pretty sentiment, but it strikes me as Disney-esque unrealistic. Don't dogs typically have a "whatever the alpha/owner does must be right" mind-set? You ever heard of a dog suddenly turning on its owner because they were disciplining a second, weaker dog? And what is a potentially painful surgical procedure to a dog, beyond some kind of punishment they aren't sure why they're getting?
Or maybe I'm wrong. I like psychology, but I don't have any formal education in it. :P
