Personality: Derick is rather distant with people on campus, including his friends (though John tries to spend a lot of times with him). So far, the only one he would start talking to would be the Lopunny Les, since they both have the same problem with their bodies. Although he has the habit of pounding anyone who mistakes him for a girl, he doesn’t want to be in fights. He wants to find a peaceful solution before he ever fights.

Bio:
Derick's father, Drake, was a hunter and his mother, Tobi, was a veterinarian. Most people found that quite odd. But, for the first few years in their marriage, they gave birth to their daughter, Alisha, and Derick. His parents had gotten a divorce when he was very little, when he was around 4 years old. His father was able to achieve full custody over him when his mother got custody of his sister, Felicia. It wasn't all that bad for the first few years for him. He was able to spend some time with his mom and sister during the weekends, and his dad always got him anything he needed. He often found his dad talking about his mother. Nothing terrible, but things he didn't understand (AKA sexual things) so he never took notice. His life made a drastic turn for the worst once he had evolved and his figure change to that of a female. Most people now mistake him for a girl, which got him real upset. His father took notice of this and even told Derick that he reminded him of his mother.

One day, Derick caught his father during his private time and soon found himself in his own father's sexual desires.  Drake started to molest Derick over the fact that he found his new body attractive and a good way to `release tension'. For years, Derick was being dominated by Drake as his own sex toy, receiving blows whenever he talks back to his dad or when he refused to come to his room. He even was used to pleasure his dad's friends. Drake's very action had frightened Derick, preventing him from telling anyone about his molestation. Each and everyday, at least once, Derick was put in all fours and was forced to take in his father.

Thankfully, when Drake was resting during another one of his moments late at night, Derick's courage kicked in as he silently pulled away from his dad and fled the house, going to the first person he could ever count on, his mother Tobi, who had remarried to another Mightyena. Horrifed by the news, Tobi quickly called the authorities. Drake was arrested and sent to jail.

Derick had been scarred thanks to the actions of his father. He would barely eat nor sleep. His mother and sister would worry sick for him. Derick soon befriended a Vibrava named John during his time in 8th grade. Spending some time with him, got his eating habits back and slept well. Heck, it was John who sparked up his anger side when he commented how girly he looked. He would beat the heck out of anyone who would mistake him as a girl. The moments he remembers with his father were gone, almost. There are nights where he can still see him as a silhouette, watching him with dark red eyes.

Derick soon got to PCA along with John, who evolved into a Flygon around his sophomore year. He started his own team and became it's leader. Soon he met up with a Lopunny, who had the same kind of problem involving the figure masking them as a female. Due to so many similarities, they became sort of like brothers, close ones. Even though Derick had a secret crush for him, he soon hooked up with his old friend John, who by now started to have his mind many times in the gutter. Junior year, he still has the problem of people mistaking him for a girl.
