Well, I’m not sure about the community as a whole as I really don’t get it either, but for me the unwilling aspect is attractive because I like combat. I like to think of vore (if it isn’t soft and luvy dovy) as fight to the death between the predator and the prey … as you might guess by glancing at my avatar (mouse with a sword, ftw!) I love it just as much when the prey wins as I do when the pred wins. Heck, if it’s a good enough fight I don’t even care if vore is involved. It might as well just be a side bonus.
So far very few people in roleplay who are into vore actually go along with the fight though. It seems most just want a 'mock' fight and then get to the digestion as quickly as possible.

One time during a roleplay instance on second life, when confronted by a random fire breathing cat demon when I didn’t have any weapon available, the three inch tall character “Arbon” wielded whatever was in his hand at the time and took an intimidating stance. After my paragraph was posted in explicit detail, a friend of mine next to me uttered words I will never forget: “Only arbon could make a santa hat and a cup of cocoa sound deadly”
I’m pretty sure once I google what a Playstation move controller looks like I have got to file a note in my list of things to draw. That one’s too interesting an idea to pass up. As for not looking like a sword … I blame the glow. Need to stop drawing the glowy effect until I can get it to look right.

In a world of vore, nothing makes a safer fashion statement than arsenic shampoo, spike covered armor, and high yield explosives stringing every inch of your clothing.
This sort of mentality also comes in handy if you WANT to get eaten. Nothing says ‘eat me’ quite as efficiently as sitting on a plate with an eat me sign and a plethora of sauces and dips surrounding you.
But when you combine the two scenarios, then you get an Akbar moment …
