well my regular rate for full color is 75-100$ and i get people pay that, this is for people who cant afford my full rendered work. you have to take into consideration how much time is spend per image. if you work a regular job how much do you get paid per hour? and then how long does it take to make a price of art. if it takes many hours to make one piece and i charge a low price, well i should just have worked at McDonalds for the same amount of money. so for those who have talent and sell themselves too cheap, the people who buy their art are A( getting a good deal, B) taking advantage of the artist.
Time and effort I can understand, but I never know how much actual effort and time they really put in, its like Car Insurance. Thats why everyone looks for the better deal, such as myself. I've seen people wipe sketchmissions like this one, with a flat color background, in like 5 minutes for $5 like
Kahmari does. Sorry, but your prices are way up in the clouds, depsite how much people get wage-wise. Higher prices, also means less customers. More, does always mean better.

Actually his prices are pretty standard, I've paid less for commisions but usually they were Monochromatic or contained less detail. I look at the person's art work examples and then decide if I wish to purchase. You can argue that you find the prices too high but if he fills 4 slots at 25 dollars each then he's reached his goal.
That's your opinion and you are welcome to it, I'm happy with it in terms of quality, style and originality and I paid the $25
And ultimately only those people who buy a slot have any real bearing on what they thought of the finished product. If you don't agree to an artist's pricing structure or output then you were never really going to be a target customer, so its a bit pointless to even comment.
It's like going into an auto showroom and complaining that a car is too expensive for what it is, it's not going to change the price or the product especially if others are buying it.

Unfortunately arguing over the monetary value of art is always going to be a moot point, if someone likes the artwork and is prepared to pay for it you can argue till your blue as to wether or not the art was "worth" that price. You can only really come from your own point of view if the artwork was worth what someone paid. I think it was worth the price and you don't, there isn't really anywhere else you can go because people who see the artwork are either going to say yes or no depending on their own personal likes and dislikes.
Plus to be honest, arguing about price with the artist on their own page is kind of rude so I won't say anymore.
