I had a plushie cat when I was young that got ruined by the dryer... From age 4-? I couldn't sleep anywhere without it... Then when I was playing some NES I spilled chocolate syrup on "Noel" somehow and when me parents washed her... the fur was all poofy and statically clung... it felt ugly to hold and she was never the same...
