I've never designed a video game character, so I might have made her attack keyframes too complex for my friend to translate.
I like frame 1 way more than frame 2. I definitely wanted to have the upper body swivel when throwing the blade, although I don't know how it would look animated.
I had a lot of fun trying to figure this out but I wish I had reference for how knife-throwing is supposed to look.

that crossdraw means of pulling a knife out will get you killed in a real fight - your own knife is facing you, not your opponent, and your arm can be forced back against your body. Also, why are the knife's quillons facing back towards her instead of forward, where they might serve to block an attacker's weapon? The knife she's currently brandishing, she's holding like an icepick, not like an actual knife fighter handles a knife. If you want, I can send you some excellent references.
