If Red Lantern had a 'villain', she'd be it. Don't let her stature fool you.
We'll be releasing little sneak peaks for future pages like this fairly often from now on, until the comic's out. . . as well as your regularly scheduled weekly pages :)
This fine lady's 'Huudari' armor is vaguely styled off of Rajput armor, with a little Roman thrown in for flavor.

And as always, for almost all Red Lantern artwork, this image is a collaboration between myself and

Okay. I'm impressed-you have talent. *Chuckles* I'm going to fave this, and then give your gallery a look-see to find out more, eh?
You've got an interesting style, and there's just so much I want to point out I like-not just the equipment and anatomy...but it's good, very good. *Gets a spyglass ready for the rest of yon collection*

Uhh, that whip would be a huge problem, so no scythe. I would go with a short sword for quick strikes and a dagger for an aggressive counter. I'm doubting my speed would give me an edge, that heavy armor would make that difficult. That's one hell of an arsenal she has.
Did I say gladly? I did, didn't I?

Quite amazing, in terms of artwork and the armor itself. As a history lover and one interested in varied world cultures I love all the influences in the comic. Great comic by and by.
Oh and I had a bit of a laugh when I read the description, because of Deadliest Warrior where they actually had Rajput vs. Roman Centurion...

Lovely work. The light quality alone is worth major <3's

I just used google image search for pictures of Rajput armor. . . got quite a few that way. But like I said, it's *loosely* based off of it. I used the idea for the padded, studded tunic and sleeves, the metal plates over certain parts of the body, sewn into leather, and added some western elements, like the pauldrons, bracers, and the greco-roman skirt
Nice to see a female in proper armor. I hate what most people do with female armor, showing off a chest is all well and good but its also has all the major vital organs under it...ie should be armored.
Really beautiful design. I particularly like all the little details, like the ornament on the straps of the bottom of the tunic.
