I figure I haven't really submitted anything so I might as well submit these. A while ago a critter was tearing up my house pretty fierce so I went ahead and bought some humane traps and set they with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and catfood. I figured I'd catch a raccoon and wouldn't you know it I did. This one seemed really tame in comparison to the one that my stepfather caught several years ago. Though that could be that he was stunned or afraid. I figure a raccoon is smart enough to play it down when there's something present that could easily slaughter it in the predicament it was in. Well either if it was an act or not didn't matter the thing didn't hiss, yowl, attempt to bite, or nothing. I didn't go about killing it or nothing. I just took it across the Ohio River and let it go in a really well forested area that was pretty far from the road and let it go there. Didn't seem that willing to leave though. Perhaps it wanted another PB&J. :)
Second picture of it in the cage. The evil glowie eyes make me think the "oh please don't hurt me" look was just an act. I took ones of its entire body in the cage and another as it was leaving the cage, but for some reason those have vanished from both digital and real worlds.

once there was a coon here that had its rear legs unable to bend so it walked rather oddly. once i saw it go between buildings i rushed to get a bowl of water and put it within sight of the coon then stepped way back, it drank then continued on as if i wasn't there. later on that same day it was at the other end of my building and i gave it something to eat. after that it ended up coming up to me and sniffing my foot before wandering off. then later on it came up to me and i was able to pet it, even took photos of it so close to me and my hand on it. was very nice. though a couple of other people were too stupid and afraid, believing it to be sick or something and wanting it to be killed. gods! can't believe the ignorance and arrogance of humanity!
