So yah this is Blaze. Blaze was the first and last steer that I was able to take to the county fair before we moved. Boy do I miss him. He was such a big baby and I has the time of my life raising him from a calf to the day we stepped into that selling block.
Boy some awesome memories are brought back when thinking of this big guy. I miss the family farm.

omg i could be completley wrong but is there any chance he could now be a bucking bull? Because i watch the prb and he looks almost exact to one of the big name bulls on the circut named bushwacker http://www.morenolivestock.com/bull.....Lasvega_nv.jpg http://www.pbrnow.com/images/homepa.....10/21/8874.jpg anywho if this is your boy you should be proud He's the top PBR bull of the year.
I always find it interesting that some bulls grow horns and others don't just based on their genetics . Your boy was adorable i one day would like to raise a bull up from a calf as a pet but i know i have to choose the right species or would have a real hand full. Sorry you had to sell him.
Ya cattle can be bred to have long horns like the texas long horn or polled like a herferd. it is all in the genetics. Strangely I was disapointed to sell him too. Normally I didn't maybe it is because I spent more time working with him than I did the pigs. oh well he was raised to be a beef steef and beef is what he became.
