I"m with everyone in the concept of him passing it off as just some more formal poofy-wear from back in the day. Could pass it off as a stylish pair of shorts from back in the day. Should he get fully called out, though, he could always blame the fact he is in a diaper on being tricked by a sneaky salesman. :)
