Sometimes when I'm frustrated or pissed at something, I try to turn it into a sarcastic doodle or comic.
Today's pet peeve: when male friends decide that I've targeted them as a romantic interest -- and rather than accept that I either am not actively pursuing them or would have respect for their feelings on the matter, they seem to prefer to think I'd blithely & aggressively continue to hunt them down in complete disregard of their wishes. Usually I wouldn't mind being the source of so many nightmares, but coming from friends this hurts & insults me on several levels.
For some reason, Art Therapy just isn't working for this particular issue. I've been picking this up & putting it away for something like 6 months now. I just don't like the headspace it puts me into, so it's getting set aside for a while.
I can see the scan fine on my pc at home, but on the library's monitor the scan hardly shows up. In case it can't be made out:
It first depicts me in bib-overalls crying "Ah MA-YAN!"
Then me chasing after a random furry guy with rope & a butterfly net, saying "Ain't nothin' like relentlessly pursuing a male who's made it abundantly clear that he's not attracted to me in any way. Hyuck hyuck!"

so you like, shake a hand and compliment, and stop there, and they would think you had a crush on them, even though you don't advance further? and then they would like, push you back because they believe you would pursue them?
I wonder what's on their mind to think that way. what a curious mindset.
also, I'd feel insulted, too. friends are supposed to talk it out first.
aside that, funny image is funny. love the expressions. :)
btw,. it shows up on my monitor a bit light, but complete and easy to see. only your handwriting is a bit light, so it's a little bit hard to read here.
