poor thing. i didnt know much about rats before i decided to get one. and i got them instead of a dog because we were low on cash, and they've been very good companions. it helps if you have one room that can be rat-proofed entirely and they are given free range of said room. best i have is the bathroom, and omfg they love running around there and causing trouble.
