Quick recap of Sprkles and Gloom. Prince Charming climbed the tower, but ditched the princess and married the witch instead. They had two kids, Sparkles, who all sunshine and rainbows and Gloom, who's pretty much the exact opposite. The idea for the pilot was that each girl was in a talent contest with a group, providing magical FX. But a sisterly rumble switches their magic, so Sparkles is making bats and Gloom is stuck with the rainbows.
