I want to join in, too. Just need to find some way of mayhaps hitching a ride up there, or giving someone a ride to help with gas money. I want to be a male fox paladin of Bahamut.

I've been thinking about it... And I am going for a direction that is not geared toward Iron Claw. I'll work with humanoids, but also keep in mind that I am utilizing my own game world, Bahamut is in any of my stories. And seeing your fursona is a fox, you're already RP'ing as one, I'd like to see you try to be something else.

Also I am really into Gamma World ^.^

You might just be a bigger nerd than me...and that's saying something.

I'm writing my own stories and hoping to work for them making my own campaign worlds.

As you enter the dungeon, you hear an unsettling groan. As your gnome lights up a torch, to light the dank room, you see the worst horror of horrors. A "Purple Lion" is in the room guarding his treasures.

I pull out my huge stash of cat-nip make a huge pile, then grab a hand full putting it in rice paper and sling it into the "Purple Lion's" face... Success! Then lion goes crazy for the cat-nip and gets distracted as the theives go after the treasure ^.^

I need to game with you sometime, lol :3

I am finding the rules for 4th ed are really awesome! I believe it can take a character into more heights in different directions. But I am just comparing 2.0 to 4.0

In my eyes.... it is highly creative with the chance for you to determine with way you want your character to grow... like a goal to be acheived or unlocked. I just wished they had a swashbuckler or duelist I love making pirate characters ^.^

4.0 mostly seems dumbed down. "Chaotic Good? Lawful Evil? Too difficult for people to understand. We don't need any Malcom Reynolds or Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg here."

thats another reason i like 3.5 they have swashbuckler and all the other classes in 2.0 and then some and are still super customizable without it being super dumbed down

its really not. its soooooo watered down compared to 3.5e.

The depth of character developement is really outstanding. I really got to update my characters using the new rules, which was great! But sadly, I won't take the time to learn 3.5

The old must make way for the new. It is the law of the universe. And when the next edition of D&D comes out, you can bet I will be getting into that.

I really like 2.0. That was amazing to me. I am really good with those rules. that is my preference, but I had to update my characters, and the transition is solid and great. I do not think it is watered down. Maybe the rules are not as complex anymore, but the depth of the character development is immense!
