A continuation of the pictures I did from the famed Malibu beach.
This will probably be scrapward bound XD I mostly did this just to screw around. I went a bit overboard on the saturation/vibrance, but I really liked the colors in this one and I was mostly screwing around, so who cares, lol. My back is aching pretty bad from squats today (good form I swear!), so I was just looking to try and take my mind off of it XD
What I did: Meeeh, not worth worrying about on this one, lol.

Eh, it's not that hard, especially if you're already artistically inclined. You'll have a good sense of composition. Otherwise it's just about timing. For stuff like this, sunrise/sunset = gold, better yet if you have good clouds. Plus you know photoshop already so that's a big help. A better camera and lenses don't hurt, but they are definitely not required.
I was astonished to learn that much of California from the Coast Ranges outward (westward) is an accretionary wedge, kinda like this example from the other side of the Pacific Ocean:

A furshlugginer whole stack of oceanic crust sediments, where the most recent stuff is ON THE BOTTOM. Good fact to know for those taking Physical Geology this semester.
