Just an old page of sketches from the early 1990's I found and decided to save for posterity (since the paper was starting to yellow). During this era, I was preoccupied with making model sheets of my characters decked out in a wide variety of outfits, and I have a blizzard of similar sketches sitting in notebooks. Whether I post any more depends on whether the audience wants to see more (or how many other pics turn out to be similarly deteriorated). Remember these are from the early-mid 1990's, so the outfits could be outdated, and the artwork definitley is.

At the time I was trying to be the opposite of "toon cute" which meant elongated bodies, short limbs and widely-spaced eyes, among other things. I drew compact bodies, long limbs and close-set eyes. Didn't stop anyone from thinking they were cute, though.
