Yeah, you can see my DeviantArt name in the corner. I just made a FA account and am too lazy to go back into photoshop and fix it. Lol. xD
Anyways, I did this really quickly... Just playing with some brushes. I don't usually do this type of thing, but I'm happy with how the markings came out. It was fun for a 20 min doodle.
... I don't know what type of Canine it is. Wolf, dog... Use your imagination.

Thanks! Yeah, about 4-5 years ago it was the same for me. But there are some really good programs you can get for cheap. If you don't already have them. Oh, actually. If you buy a small Bamboo wacom tablet, it comes with some programs in it. It costs between $50-$100. I started out with that.
Yeah, it is what I currently use. But, you can just buy photoshop. You don't need the suite. You can get a student discount on it... I believe. But, if you use Windows, there are other programs you can buy... Like Paint Tool Sai, Open Canvas, etc... I can't use those programs because I have a mac. I hear those two are really nice and easy to use. Some prefer them over Photoshop. The blending tools are better too. xD
