Octopus' Garden - Lili Fox and the Puppy Pips!
By multiple requests, here is the rendition of "Octopus' Garden" sung by Lili Fox at AC's 2007 Masquerade! Backing her up are North and JD Puppy, AKA the Puppy Pips (move over Gladys Knight!)
Lili's voice was performed by me, Babs.
The background vocals and musical arrangement however, were all sung and put together by
maxgoof Thanks again Max! You're a wonderful talent, and I couldn't have done this without you!

Oh. Mt. GOD!
I love the original Beatles track from "Abbey Road", sung by Ringo....nut....but.....but......*explode from overcuteness*
Insta-fave&save! :D
Can't make it to any con, so I'm saddened I couldn't see this treat, but this is just WONDERFUL! Kudos to all involved for making the performance and production work, and to Babs for the cutest singing I've heard in a while... :)

Octopus's garden was originally written to be the theme song for a cartoon that never was brought into production.
I saw the Masquerade. Rob Paulsen would be a tough act to follow by anyone's standards. It must have been like following 'Robin Killems' on stage... come to think of it - it _was_, cuz Rob voiced him on Tiny Toons.
Cute song, and a cute character Babs. The singing was good, but you need to make the voice less nasal. You can hit the high pitch without bunching it up in your nose quite so much. I liked the "Arf!".

Well, if I made it less nasal, it wouldn't be Lili. That voice is just how she sounds, whether it be talking or singing. With the character, I fel it suits her just fine. But yes, if I were singing normally, I have no doubt I could hit those higher notes. I actually have a pretty impressive range if I do say so myself!
I saw the cosplay and you were great. I always find it amusing how you give your character life with a totally different voice than your regular: It shows great creativity of actually becoming the character rather than just acting. If you doing another song next year, you should try doing another in regard to the theme of the con or if the Masquerade is based on a theme. You guys did great and I liked your rendition better than the original.
