Dang, I really wish there were more characters like him in RPGs. There are just too many humanoids. Nanaki was such a breath of fresh air in FFVII. It also peeves me that Nanaki got the shaft in all the new FFVII stuff they came out with; a 3-4 second cameo in Dirge of Cerberus and a 7 word blip in Advent Children. Seriously, he was a primary protagonist, show the guy some love. The optional, missable characters have gotten a lot more attention (though Vincent is awsome).
