HAN SHOT FIRST!!!
Went shooting yesterday with
pook. Nothing heavy, just .22s and a couple handguns.
Not everyday I get to exercise my Ruger Mk II Bull barrel stainless. That tricked out pistol is rigged with a 2X Burris scope, ment for use at ranges 50-250 yard shooting. And some cases, out to 400-500 yards!! Plus its trigger and action was tweeked and smoothed out.
I call this pistol my 'Star Wars Special'.

ask and ye shall recieve! I own one of these, and while a bit on the heavy side, it's just the thing to knock your target down in one shot.

If I was to purchase this rig as you see it, I'd be spending around $650-700 for the works...I was lucky and got the whole kitnkabuddle for $200 8 years ago at a massive sale at a gunshop. Seems somebody liked scoping his various Rugers and sold them off to the shop. Myself and 3 other friends ended up buying a scoped MkII at $200 each.
I just go by the very first version of New Hope (before it got all "remastered.") Greedo never fired because Han just shot him when he was talking. Seriously though, check out some of the (god awful) ways they changed those movies.
Up next, every Storm Trooper will carry a walkie talkie!

It was a scene lifted from a western (Fistful of Dollars, I think. Probably wrong though). The line right after he shot was "If you're going to shoot someone, shoot them, don't just stand around talking about it."
But yeah, when you're that close, you only get one shot. Unless they're both Storm Troopers, in which case they could get a whole clip in.

(Sniff) My first gun was a Ruger MkII in blue with standard barrel. Wish I never sold it. I first lost it when a house I was living in got cleaned out by burglars. I got it back a year later when I got a call from the local police who wanted to know why a handgun that was registered to me was involved in an "incident". I said I had reported it stolen over a year ago and don't you guys check your stolen item files first. He coughed nervously and claimed that computer system was down. But I was able to get it back. But I had already replaced it as it was insured. So now I had two 22 pistols. The original Ruger, somewhat scratched up, and the AMT clone in stainless with a bull barrel (Kinda like what you have there, only no scope (yet). A few months later I sold the Ruger.
Cool thing about the AMT is that the receiver has grooves for a scope. Might put a red dot reflex on it. I have one on my AR and I love it.

My first gun was a Ruger Mk II, a Christmas present - regular finish and barrel size. Nice piece, but one thing I never got the hang of: - the process of getting it back together again. I haven't fied it in ... decades. What I should do is get it out, field strip it and then see if it's so hard to reassemble now.
