OMG this is like going back in time soooo awesome!

bizarrely, this is almost exactly like the comics i drew in middle school, except they were about a parrot named, for some unknowable reason, shrimp. i think it was because i was obsessed with garfield at the time

i wrote a story where shrimp and his owner Lon (OMG it's like Jon but different) went to paradise island and had to drop a car into a volcano. totally different from 'garfield in paradise!'

i like nolan's expression in that first panel. the pics are actually quite good, throughout, although obviously you've improved a lot since then

I think its got a good 'Roald Dahl' feel to it.

Oh lawd. If I still had my high school lined notebook I kept to scribble in, I would show you my simpsons OCs so you could laugh similarly. I do however have redrawings (in flesh tone) from 2003.

Still better than what I could draw! I guess I can be glad that I can draw straight lines haha.
