Yup a new cute fuzzy alien species. ^^ As usual here's a species codex and an entry on the individual in the pic.

The Cachee are a mammalian species native to the planet Caleron. Caleron Orbits closer to it's star than earth meaning surface temperatures are higher and illumination during the day is brighter. Due to the high temperatures during the day the Cachee are a nocturnal species living primarily underground. Few venture out doing the day if it isn't absolutely necessary. Daytime temperatures can soar up over a hundred. Uncomfortable temperatures for mammals but perfect for the Reptilian predators active during the day. The Cachee Until recently had a level of advancement recommencement of 1900's Earth. However 50 years ago a human mining vessels stumbled across the planet before doing a complete survey. Having found out the planet supported sentient life the crew was uncertain what to do. Eventually one contacted the Council and a First contact team was dispatched. Since then the Cachee have been steadily advancing in their technological skills. They are still however not a common sight off their homeworld.

Mez is a young Cachee with more than a little curiosity. He has a habit of getting into everything, taking things apart and is known to be very talkative. Mez's mother works as an architect while his father is more of a stay at home dad. Mez is seen here with some goggles and apparently being asked by his father what he plans on doing with those. Mez wanted to go up to the surface and see the new Satellite Dishes and comms arrays that were going up. He was so excited about it he'd completely forgotten he was still in just his diaper. Not an uncommon site among his species as toilet training ages are higher for them.
