As most of you fuzz butts know, I have several mates. I love them all equally and differently. But my main male is and has always been Thanos, my first life-mate. It's because he is such an amazing furson that I've come this far in like everything I do. But if you'll notice, there is surprisingly little artwork of him. I realized this shortly after completing Benji's Badge. I saw Thanos' avatar on Twittere and I was like "Whiskers..." (I know, thanks Lion-o for the awesome new expletive) "My boo needs a new avatar, stat! His pic was from a Christmas card I did like five years ago. Back then I drew and inked stuff but had some bozo fan-boy (that I will not mention again because I try to maintain a drama-free zone) do the digital coloring for me because I didn't know how and for some misguided reason, I thought figuring out how was beyond me. This often caused me to have an idea of what the finished product should look like in my head but due to communication errors, differences of opinion and that damned fox's tendency to take the path of least resistance the finished product never really looked right. Since then I have seen the errors in my thinking and have taken great strides to fix them. Just, after Benji I realized I've never fixed this one.
So now I present my lifemate Thanos Schezar. I am extremely grateful that the bear has let me go this long not drawing him and not mauling me. Thanos, a bear in most senses of the word has a body-style I don't get to draw often. He's got a Power-lifter bod, really cut arms but he's sooo not a body-builder so he's got a tummy I just wanna lay my head on. I am especially proud of his hair. I will go ahead and admit... Benji;s hair, while similar, only looked decent because of the epiphany I had at 4am that was forced through equal parts of sleep deprivation and desperation to have the badge done in time for my new boyfriend's first con. Lets just say that immediately following completion, I forgot how I did it. >.> But, I not only remembered how I did it, I improved upon it so now the technique has been fully assimilated into my style.
Hmmm, I talk a lot. Sorry but this pic gives me an extreme case of the warm-fuzzies. I think I'll work it off with my new avatar. Hal-demons don't inspire warm fuzzies... do they?
