I found this the other day on my backup disk.It's old, so I apologize for the crappyness. I finished it either way, since I really needed a decent reference of Iniki. Her design is crappy, too, since I created her after watching only a couple of episodes, but I won't change it sine it has a lot of personal meaning. I mean, she was my very first OC <3

Iniki is a pure explosion of energy. She seems to be everywhere at once, always joking around, and has a razor-sharp sense of humor. She'll stop at nothing to attain her goals, recurring to trickery if needed. Street-smart and ruthless with her enemies. Deep down, however, she tends to feel lonely, as shown by her bond with Haruko. She's a music lover and she fights best with senbon, although she has some skills with kunai. Very little is known about her past or her family. The scars on her side were made by a senbon-wielding ninja, during her first mission. Her strengths are speed and agility and her main weaknesses are physical strength and strategy, as she tends to act on impulse without having a safety plan. Firstly, Iniki has a slight crush on her former teammate Kurael, but during the chūnin she develops a deep infatuation for Sasuke, regardless of how many times she has been rejected by him.

She met Haruko during the chūnin exams, when Team Iniki was faking as a non-existent Amegakure team. Both her teammates were killed during the preliminary combats, but seeing as Iniki was not really close to either of them and had her mind set n Sasuke she didn't mourn their loss for too long. At a certain point, she and Haruko became good friends, and the latter even offered to convince Tsunade-sama to allow her to stay at Konoha and begin a new life there. Iniki was tempted by this offer, but her old loyalty to Orochimaru and her feelings for Sasuke made her sneak out of the village overnight and return to Otogakure.

Orochimaru, who had abducted Asuma Cell and was studying the Yamanaka's Mind-Body Switch Techniques, used Iniki as a test drive for his variation of the jutsu, in which no damage would be done to his body if Iniki suffered an injury. This version, however, was rushed due to Konoha's retrieval teams' sudden arrival, and so Iniki remained conscious all the while she was being controlled by Orochimaru, even though most of the time she had little or no control over her body's actions. This jutsu seems to require a lot of concentration to master, as whenever Orochimaru's focus breached Iniki regained control over her body and was also able to push him away gradually.

Regardless of this, Orochimaru entered the fight through Iniki's body, and managed to trap Haruko's team mate Akane (towards whom Iniki had a deep distaste) under a potentially lethal genjutsu. Haruko was forced to kill Iniki, who pushed Orochimaru's control away before he could defend them and kill her friend. Before dying, she states that despite having been betrayed by everyone she trusted (Orochimaru, Sasuke, and finally Haruko), she still loved them, mocking herself for her heart's stupidity.
