Footfalls follow along a rarely tredded path that wound and twisted along through the over growth. It soon gave way, reveiling a breath taking veiw of a deep valley. Ancient trees of varying shades of emerald framed a glistening lake that reflected the moon and surrounding mountains. Archs of stone covered in green jutted from the glittering still waters. Nestled among the trees, barely visible, you see a worn old building, smoke rising from a stone smoke stack. Continuing on down into the valley, the ancient green swallows you, making it hard to stay on the pathway. You feel eyes upon you, a large presence hiding within the darkness.. The smell of dragon is every where here. But there is something else, a forboding feeling nipping at your heels that makes you pick up the pace, and your heart begin to race. Closer and closer you come, soon seeing the glow of warm lights throw paned windows from that old three story building. The ramshackle inn is a welcomeing sight as you rush to leave the darkness.. However you pause just outside the light, your hair standing on end at the low rumbles and growls, and the smell of the recent dead. Turning you see what you had been sensing all this while, decaying bodies among dark figures. You make your self move onward, stumbling up to the door of the inn. The forms hiss and growl, however do not dare to enter the light, and so you quickly enter the inn.
A warmth greets you, pleasent conversations and company can be seen and heard. A large stone hearth at the far side of the common room, a comfortable looking rug spread out before it, an old worn high backed arm chair rest near one of the stone supports.
"Good evening.." Your eyes flick to the bar where the pleasent voice came from, your eyes greeted with an array of colorful bottles in every shade, shape and size, and sitting there on a stool is a dark cloaked young woman, purple eyes looking amused. "I hope you did not have much trouble getting here.." She said, with a soft smile. "I am Kaltanna Silverstrife, lady of the keep, and owner of the Silvernight Tavern and Inn."
She was quite lovely, this lady of the keep, but you sense there was something amiss about this mysterious place...but something inviting as well.
I got to remanicing last night when I went to bed. This is my very first character that I ever rped. I played her back when MSN had free chatrooms. She used to wander around and was the type to sit on the bar counter and poke fun of those who sulked in dark corners. (people did that alot! ) She was something called a dragmir, a race of beings that I didnt make.. Kal was brought up by dragons, her wings were broken brutally and never healed right, and so were crippled.. She wore a cloak most of the time to hide them. I really did enjoy playing her.
