I would go with the former. The scapegoat glasses are kinda like... I dunno, too techno punk.

The guy in the beach makes me think of "oh hey I'm on the beach, with headphones!"

the hair "spikes" are also posable, ( meaning he can bend them in slightly different patterns aswell.) the core of each one of them are nickel-wire inside of nylon 1/8 tubing, so they are a bit springy, but still posable.
