A early Bday drawing for
kaylink since it's her birthday in a couple of days and I have a feeling I'd be busy around that time so I draw something today.
I'm so thankful to her cause her video on how to shade has proved to be really really helpful and evening got me more noticed around the internet. *hugs*

Yeah I have to say the background looks brilliant on this as well now that you mentioned it, Well if you enjoy drawing the background I guessed it would be much more easier to draw rocks :) I would love to start drawing but I don't have the self-confidence to try and I have a lot to learn :P
Ah Right, Im honestly not sure If i am a visual learner or a more practical learner, I'll have to find out for myself. I mean I can attempt to draw art blind and see if i pick up from there or I can do as you suggest and watch speed videos or video tutorials on YT before I attempt drawing. Thanks for your advice anyways and What program would you suggest I use btw? :)
Yeah there are some written tutorials on here and on DeviantART too so that can be handy sometimes. Hmmm well a pencil and paper is always a good start until you feel confident enough to move onto the PC, when you do doodling on ms paint can be helpful and if you can afford one. A graphics talent will make digital art easier to do but what program you use after that is up to you, i've used a ton of different programs and in my honest option PaintTool sai is the best one.
I better go take a look at them written tutorials on here and DeviantART for a start I think, Pencil and paper is a obvious yet brilliant suggestion that I actually didn't think of, well I guess MS paint is expensive then? :/ A graphics talent = ? But If it will make digital art easier I am sure it is good ^^ Once I've grown confident enough from drawing with pencil and paper and watching countless tutorials I shall use this PainTool Sai and see for myself!
Thank you for your advice you have been ever so helpful and for that I am very grateful, I'll have to return the favour once I get good enough myself hehe :P
