Spud should have been the manliest hamster, but he's actually just the brownest. I'm not sure that hamsters can be manly, which I would have thought of most animals, except there was this one betta fish with a five o' clock shaddow that I knew once.
I hope Spud doesn't grow up with some sort of complex due to his manly name.
As some of you may know,
vombatiformes and I recently became responsible for 10 baby hamsters (about a month or so ago we adopted Potato, who turned out to be pregnant - we would never breed a hamster)! We've decided to keep them until we can find them homes (as opposed to giving them to a pet store or overcrowded shelter), and as such, could use some help! Money around here has been pretty tight (especially since I STILL have not received pay from my summer job D:<), and today alone we spent $50 setting them up in their new homes - separating males from females.
Anyhow, to help balance out the costs, I'm offering a Hamster Sponsorship! If you donate anything $5 or more to distome@gmail.com, you get a sketch of this quality of your character and the hamster of your choice! Unfortunately I can't guarantee anything more than that at the moment, but if anybody donates a ridiculous amount. . . I don't know, we'll figure something out >.>
ALTERNATIVELY iif you or anyone you know would like to adopt this or any of our other baby hamsters PLEASE PM vombatiformes or me!! The sooner they find a permanent home the better! Adoption is free, but you've got to be able to pick them up here or at a halfway point (we live in North Western PA).

These guys are all too cute. I'll try to send some sponsorship on Tuesday when I get paid, or once I get these two commissions done and am paid for them. :3
