Tom Black fell into a space-time shear and arrived in Cerulea only recently. Tom was haphazardly initiated a mage and given the rank and title of "Pilgrim" by a dying high mage. Soon enough he was "hired" by Captain Blanc to replace his resident mage who met with an unfortunate accident with a lightning harpy and got dragged on board the "Windborn" in search of Cerulean gold - the cerulite crystals.
