I actually wrote a little story to go along with this one when the artist invited me to.
Jacob sat with his back against the post chewing at the cord that bound him to it. He knew he had to chew threw it before Reban noticed him all alone in the field. The simple rope would be easy enough for his sharp fangs to cut through, but it was thick and it would take time, time that he did not have. He had been secured to a post in this location because Reban was known to frequent this area. It was not difficult for his tribe to be able to track his movements. Reban was a 500-foot tall dragon that had gotten into the habit of turning his people into a midday meal.
While Jacob's tribe had been powerful enough to fend off any other threat in the area, there was little a tribe of mere German shepherds could do against something like a dragon. That had not stopped them from trying though. After Reban's first raid, his tribe had gathered its best warriors and sent them off to try and slay the beast, a foolish thing to do in Jacob's opinion and he had let that opinion be known. When none of his tribesmen returned from that fool's errand he thought he had been vindicated.
Jacob had argued that his fellow tribesmen should abandon their land while they still could. The land was Reban's now and if they chose to stay they would be little more than cattle for the land's new ruler. That opinion had not been very popular. In fact, that opinion had gotten Jacob labeled as a coward, suited to be nothing more than a sacrifice for the dragon. They hoped to gain some time to figure out how to handle the dragon using Jacob as their sacrificial lamb, much to Jacob's dismay. For some reason that he could not fathom they actually thought the dragon would be honor bound to leave them alone for a while if they offered him a sacrifice.
That dragon would take what he wanted when he wanted. He had no interest in being a pointless sacrifice to some giant reptile. His people had thought he would feel honor bound to let himself be devoured by the beast, which was why they had only bothered securing him to the post with a rope instead of with chains. They were most certainly wrong about that and Jacob knew they were wrong about Reban.
He was a little over half way through chewing the rope when he felt the first rumbles. It was not the natural rumblings of the ground during an earthquake. Jacob could feel the much more unsettling steady rhythm of the earth shaking due to a creature of near impossible size walking across it, making the very ground seem to quake in fear. For a moment Jacob froze in fear before he could collect himself once more and start frantically chewing through his bonds. But, as the massive form of Reban came into view he could tell his struggles were in vain.
The great black dragon had already spotted him. Those blood red eyes held him paralyzed with fear up until the point where the titanic dragon leaned down over the seemingly tiny canine. The dragon gave Jacob a little sniff and that was all Jacob could take. He tried to run from the great beast, but the rope attached to his neck would only let him get a body's length away from the post. Jacob tugged and pulled, hoping beyond hope that the rope would break and that he would somehow be able to escape.
Reban just stared on passively at this, contemplating his prey for a moment before finally speaking, "So, they've already resorted to sacrifices have they? I don't suppose you happen to be a virgin?"
Jacob had known the dragon could talk, but he had not really accepted that fact on an intellectual level. He had only thought of the dragon as an insatiable monster, not as something that could carry on a conversation. Even after being addressed by the dragon that was an image that was hard to break, especially while staring at a mouth large enough to easily swallow three or four of him. That was something he had to get over quickly. While the dragon was not eating him yet, he doubted that would last long if he did not keep up his end of the conversation.
"Not a virgin, just someone who gave some unpopular advice," Jacob responded.
"Let me guess, you told them not to fight me and just leave?"
Jacob simple responded , "Yes."
"And thus is the fate of the smart ones," Reban said with a slight chuckle. "That's too bad for you, but at least I get another easy meal out of it. Not quite as substantial as the ones that practically charged right down my throat however." And with that statement made Reban's tongue darted out and started to rap itself around Jacob.
"Wait! Please, have mercy," Jacob shouted. That did no good. He was nothing more than a meal to the dragon now. Jacob tried to fight against the massive slick pink muscle that gripped his body. That proved to be just as pointless as trying to talk the dragon out of doing this. That tongue was a mass of muscles larger than he was. Fighting something like that was out of the question even for the great warriors of legend and Jacob was not one of those warriors.
Jacob was pulled into the dragon's gapping maw, his rope only providing a moments resistance, snapping with ease against Reban's power. Hot humid air washed over Jacob in waves as he was forced into the dragon's cavernous mouth. He stared at fangs as long as his forearm, some even larger, wondering if the dragon planned to chew his meal first. The thought of his body being pierced by those vicious looking ivory spears made Jacob struggle all the harder, but Reban's tongue held him fast. He was not even sure if the dragon noticed his tiny struggles at all. The only thing that ever seemed to give the Reban pause was the rope dangling out of his mouth, as if he had just felt it was there.
That brief moment did not last for long as Reban gulped down the tiny treat he had been offered. As Jacob felt himself being forced into the dragon's throat he felt no joy at having been spared the pain of being chewed. The dark abyss that welcomed him into its tight confines left little room for joy. Jacob was surprised at how tightly Reban's throat gripped his body. He had thought the creature's size meant he would just free fall all the way to its belly. The rippling mucus coated muscles around him quickly disabused him of that notion.
Jacob felt himself so tightly constricted on all sides that he could not move a single limb no matter how hard he tried. It felt as if it was beyond his ability to even struggle against such power. And the speed at which those muscles whisked him to his final resting place was terrifying. Even in the darkness of Reban's throat Jacob could feel himself moving so fast that he might as well have been falling head first down the slick tunnel.
Jacob felt himself smack against a fleshy wall and thought that he had already landed in the beast's stomach. It did not feel so bad. He had been expecting something like digestive acids that would burn away his flesh. That instant of relief suddenly vanished as the fleshy wall in front of him yawned open and let Jacob fall into a wide open chamber, Reban's true stomach. A powerful stench hit Jacob's sensitive canine nose as he slid down a slimy wall. It was not a smell that he was familiar with but he knew its source the moment he hit it.
He felt a sharp tingling burning sensation as his hand landed in a shallow pool of Reban's digestive juices, the front of his body landing in the stuff before he could halt his slide. All conscious thought fled his body the moment that happened. While the pool was still shallow at the moment Jacob thought he could hear the dragon's belly secreting more of the corrosive substance by the second. Even the shallow pool, which was getting deeper and deeper as time passed, was impossible to avoid. The slick walls of the dragon's belly would not allow Jacob to climb them, no matter how much his panic stricken body clawed at them.
Reban let himself enjoy the struggles of the dog for a while. It always felt good to have live prey in his belly. But, Jacob had been right about Reban. One sacrifice was not enough to keep him away from the German shepherd tribe. If anything, having only one tiny morsel in the cavern that was his belly made him realize just how hungry he really was. He started walking toward Jacob's village as his stomach churned, making quick work of his snack. Reban would have to make them understand that just one was never enough.

I'd like to see a story like this have a happy ending. I mean it was very well written and I've come to expect from your stories. I can sort of stomach this stuff(excuse the pun) normally. But getting to know the victim just makes it feel so much more tragic. And yes, I know, I shouldn't have read it in the first place. The picture was just too intriguing to resist and I happen to like vore so I did enjoy it up to a point
Again, well written as usual. You know the writing is good if the story pulls at your heart the way it did.

Yeah I mean part of me wants to hate the dragon in this story but at the same time he didnt go out of his way to be particularly cruel. I dont know if its just the circumstances surrounding the characters but I've found so very few genuinely good macro stories that end on a positive note. Most are pretty bland and you really dont get attached to the characters or you really know the ending all along or something. Sorry I'm rambling I guess. I dont know if its just my personality but I really do get attached to certain characters
