Pet peeve time again... this time i go after socks....

What people call socks aren't there are 3 classes that people all universally call socks

1. Socks, a material that covers the entire footpaw area, to prevent them from getting dirty.
2. Leg warmer, to warm the legs, open toe and or ankle, meant for the 70's and 80's
3. Stocking, made from silk and luxurious materials that are meant to be more of an opaque covering. Meant more for sexy-times and worn with high heels generally. Part of a lingerie setup usually.

Sexy scale. (My scale)
100% full paw coverage, clean or dirty, no holes, more complicated the better for design. But classic goodness is the grey heel/toe. They can be thigh high, really short, and stripes are a bonus as well
80% The leg warmers, stripes are bonus. Still on my sexy radar
50% Socks with claw holes, ripped or made like that. They are OK...
40% Stocking, sheer, thin stuff
10% Holes... sock abuse call on that... no real attraction to them
0% Fat socks, socks too small for the paw, socks that hide the natural paw shape under a really thick cover. Could be mistaken for a thin boot... Don't like `em
