AKA Mexican Red Knee. This girl is 3" in leg span and is pretty sweet. Though she can be quite a hair kicker with her Class III urticating hairs when she doesn't want to be bothered. She is my first and oldest Tarantula and will out live both of my other T's combined hopefully. She can live upwards of 30 years. Venom potency to humans is also low.

Heheh no worries! I'm very responsible with my spiders. I have arachnophobia myself so I know the feeling. It's terribly dangerous for the spider to ever carry it around somewhere (if a species of this size fell from say, 5 inches, it could rupture and die slow and painful death) much less use it to scare someone :)
