Oh! Wonderful. When you mentioned that her room was "Carved Out," I couldn't help but be reminded of the earthen homes of a certain Mr. Calelei (I'll have to look that up.) Who brought the architectural ideas from his homelands, which relied on digging into the earth and using natural materials found on the site. The white window frame reminds me of the whitewashed earth they'd use around the window and door frames. It made the earth a little more durable, and reflected light and heat.

I didn't mean "carved out" in the litteral sence. Just that she has been allowed to make a private place for herself. Probably no lock on the door however as she is still technically a slave. I'll have to try looking up Mr. Calelei some time. Yes that is probably just white wash from the outside of ther building being applied around the inside of the window for a consistent look. Note that Chimi has even been able to snag an unwanted wall hanging to decorate he space.
