Rusty FIMO Model Finished - YAY 500+ page views :D
At last, its completely finished!!! :D ^w^ and YAAAAYYYY!!!! 500+ Page views :D
i baked the model today after adding the final details onto it and i love how it turned out :3
the model stands approximately 20cm high and is is actually pretty light.
What i like about it
-i love how the head turned out, i know it looks abit like he has a mask on but it looks nice and defined under light.
-the ears and fur spike on the side of his head were hard to make but i managed to make them the right size and shape (ish) eventually ^^
-the eyes where a lot of fun, especially adding the orange around them to make them look more correct.
-the detail for the jeans, though a little simple, is good too and im glad itsurvived the baking process.
What went wrong / could have been done better
-unfortunatly the model wasnt short enough to fit in the oven standing up so i had to lay him face down, which awkwardly squished his nose and got rid of the detail i had added to it :/
-as many of the people who have seen the previous images of the model have said, the arms are a bit too long which is a shame :(
-the top of the jeans are a bit of a let down because most of it mixes in with the torso it is on top of. i would have done a belt but i wasn able to make any more blue that was exactly the same colour as the jeans.
What's next?
Next up i am going to try to make a model with nothing supporting it to see how good i am at that, but this time i am going to make sure i but plenty of FIMO so that i wont run out of a certain colour halfway through making it like i did with this one.
I will also use guids and hints given to me by anyone who has given my any whilst i was making this model, its not that i was ignoring you but i wanted to try it on my own first, THEN turn to people and aske their oppinion and if they could give and tips ^^
thats about it then, my model is complete, now i just have one or 2 more projects to take care of and ill have a clean slate, ready to start some more :D
if you have time i'd love to hear what you think of the model, any feed back at all will be greatly appreciated ^w^
anywho, hopw you like my latest creation ^^
Enjoy =^w^=
oh and if anyone want to know, the film for the DVD case he is stood on i very good ^^ Lupin the 3rd (a.k.a. Wolf) is a cool cartoon :D

i can add the wooden base back on, id need to locate where is is and drill a hole to it though which might be risky :/ meh, he stands up ok on his own ^w^
yup i did bake it, fimo is a modeling material that can be bakes once you have finished what you are making, so that it is less llikely to be damaged from fall cuts etc which is great cos now i have a model of Rusty that i can stand up some where and not worry too much about him being badly damaged from falling :D
