Third installment. Genghis Kahn
I could find no pic of old Genghis on a horse except for a Persian piece that did not seem appropriate. This image is based on a GIGANTIC statue on the Mongol steppe. big enough to have a viewing platform on the horse's head. The statue is made of stainless steel and the horse is slightly cubist, making it look like the world's biggest hood ornament.

And an idea for another in this series featuring Alexander the great... http://www.nga.gov/podcasts/fullscr.....02808bs04.shtm
Because I would not necessarily consider him a "conqueror". Defender, yes. And I'm kinda doing megalomaniacs in this series. Napoleon, Hitler, Genghis Kahn, Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar. The idea was to juxtapose sweet little ponies with nasty little men. GW was neither nasty nor little.
Put MacArthur in a sinking PT boat instead. American History ponies (assuming you drop the megalomaniac/conqueror theme) could also include Paul Revere and numerous Civil War generals... on either side. Black Jack Pershing. Teddy Roosevelt. Possibly even Caesar Rodney from Delaware...
And if you include the Wild West, how about Butch and Sundance on ponies!
