As the half-blooded offspring of human and faelynn parents, peltlings are persecuted as unclean and even monsterous for their very nature. As such, they live a nomadic existence, plying the western seas as tradesmen and performers, without a home to truly call their own.

I'm thinking the mixture of feline and human traits can vary - probably linked to which traits are inherited from the parents. A peltling inheriting a Faelynn's agility is more likely to have a non-vestigal tail, while one who inherits their keen hearing might display more cat-like ears... as an example. Some may evn have patchy spots of, or a thin coat of fur.
Designing the peltlings was an excercise in finding a relatively mutable middle-ground between humans and Faelynn (allready anthropomorphic felines) without just making something neko-like... preferably making them alittle outlandish and strange-looking comparatively.
Hooray for thoughts on design!

well, the more square jaw of the male makes up witht he otherwise "gracefulness" one can expect from felines, so the design on that part is spot on. as for female gesign, the common non-square lines of them would point them close to the feline traits, worst cae, they'll resemble cat-girl when walking around with cat-ears. :P
