A high-tech energy broad sword in a medieval style haft.
The main weight is in the middle of the gripping (the field generator) so the weapon is quite balanced, as the blade itself is wheightless.
If not in use the blade can be deactivated (also to conserve power :P) and the bayonet guard closes up to protect the sensible equipment at the top (that form is also easier to transport etc.)
The grip is designed for one and a half hand.

Didn´t know that beforehand, but i really liked the idea of such a blade.
Think i´ll have to modify mine a bit, make it look more techie :D
