At the library our group shows the assassin's message to the librarian, but who is not able to read it either. He allows them to freely study all the library's books about all the known languages and writing methods in Karamador to decypher the scroll's text. Inside library proper all the books and the studying desks bring memories to Sir Kiljaos, back then he was still a squire. And so a new flashback begins...
And yes, that hushing barbarian is a reference to the Conan The Librarian joke.

So much knowledge to study through, but so little time. Judging by how long Sir Kiljaos has been reading through these books.

The worst part? Writings of that nature are usually created with a writ-cypher. So without knowing what it is, it's a monumental task, to even get started. They need to find a pattern first. THEN establish a language. I do not envy my brother felines task.
