So this one went through MANY changes.

I had it sitting on my computer as the full sprite for ages but never really wanted to make it. At one point I decided to crop it down to 145 pixels tall as that would save on beads, plus having it full size doesn't add much as there isn't much from the knees down.
So the first sprite I made had the clothes be blue with yellow trim as I like that color combo. But I have enough Perler sprites in my room with that color combo so I decided to change that. I usually try to avoid dark grey as that means I have to shade with black which can come with its own set off issues. But dark grey and black seemed to work out.
Then the yellow trim was a point of contention so I experimented with many different colors. The pink looked really good so I went with it. Then I started added some pink tips to the hair and spikes, changed the eye color since the red wasn't fitting in and same for the chest/back spike.
Then there was the bare grey rump. I have done many MANY Perlers over the years. As such I have come to learn that for visual appeal, when possible, it's nice to break up large solid areas of a singular color with SOMETHING. So over the course of many days I worked on various tattoo ideas for this sprite. Some were too simple, some were nice like the slash pattern but didn't quite click, and some were too complex. But then I started doing the spider web. That was starting to click. I even had to make sure the general curve matched with his rump to make it look good. So it's not just a static perfectly straight web pasted over, no this web alone took a lot of work to make look just right.
So with the tattoos sorted out I started working on this. I had all the beads down, but the solid grey of the rump, even with the tattoo, I felt like it needed something else. That is when I started working on a blue marking. This was another set of days with me changing the pattern THREE TIMES on the bead bases before settling on what is decidedly the most simple one. But I feel it was JUST what was needed to make this sprite near perfect.
Anyway. I love how this sprite turned out~ I needed another curvy femboy Perler in my room, and this sprite seemed like an easy one to make into male by simply subtracting the breasts~
