Harper the shiny mega dragonite!
Harper is a private investigator for hire! Although she has found herself without work most of the time. Leaving her old life as a detective a few years after her senior partner in crime-fighting had left, she was enamored by the small beach town she's come to for vacation and decided to move there, starting up a new life and bringing her talents with her... though, much of the local residents either don't need mysteries solved, or trust her just yet.
In her rather ample time off-work, she look into the one mystery that all of the beach town seem to keep hidden... she doesn't know what exactly, but there has been cases of pokemon getting beaten up to a pulp sometimes, and the obvious crime organization that seems to have way too much privileges in town-- even the police here seem to be in cahoots. But there doesn't seem to be any smuggling or illegal things going on the background, so why is it that the gangsters seem to be ruling the town in the shadows?
The band of witches headquartered in the woods give her intel from time to time, though she finds them useless since they believe it's something paranormal. Not something Harper can take as real fact in her opinion.
As a 'second' job to keep food on her table and the lights on in her apartment, she's at least lucky to have found her old partner retired and owns a teashop, where Harper goes to serve tea and take janitorial jobs. She will admit it's really enjoyable since she can talk to her old friend once more.
