Proto Andes was the 15th Robot by order of appearance, stolen from the World Expo with the other robots, and was rebuilt to face Red Baron in 15th Episode of Super Red Baron show: "The Foretold Trap". Though its nation of origin is not given, the Robot is another entry from South America, like Electric Amazon, and its named after the Andes Mountain chain, which runs through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, making any of these its home nation or at most its collaborating nations for the entry, as well Daisaku calling it Protector of the former Incan Empire – didn't know this fucker was that old. The Wikipedia Page on Red Baron states the Robot was from Peru.

History
The story line starts with Ken awakening from a cold sweat out of a nightmare where he is hunted by his SSI allies, cornered and killed by Daigo, been instigating and taunted by Dr. Deviler in his latest ploy for psychological warfare, openly at the start. This goes out of hand when Ken's inner fears leads to the killing of a milk-man and a police officer in random encounters, these were in fact actual Mecha Soldier, as well people accusing him of murder.

He avoids the Police and inserted Mecha Agents keep an eye, Kunamo informs to Daigo who passes the situation to the other members of SSI. Kunamo detains him, but Daigo request custody, where under his interrogation, Ken explains to Daigo all of this is a set up of the Iron Alliance is setting things up. Daigo comes with a plan and there after Ken escapes with the others going after him once more, with Kunamo telling him of the now missing bodies of Ken's victims. Things get complicated when Ken calls for Red Baron, board it and marches it towards some apartment, its tenants running in panic, seeing been full by Mecha-Soldiers.

SSI gathers in front of Red Baron, and Daigo challenges Ken to crush him in front of the others, Ken comes down, but runs as soon Daigo brings out his gun. The foot chases continues all the way to the apartment ground of Ken's dream, where he is cornered; Daigo shoot and kill Ken to the shock of the others, and Kunamo places the Chief under arrest. As the crew carries Ken's body on a stretcher, with Ken dead Deviler takes sends Proto Andes to attack the nearby Kanto Oil Refinery, when the bulletin is uttered on the CB, the others and Ken hears, standing from the stretcher and head back to Red Baron, all coming to realized this was a ruse to trick the villains.

As Proto Andes destroys the refinery with its flying drill punch, Red Baron arrives with Ken in the Controls and ready for battle: Ken fires Baron missiles and later Baron punch, which are repelled by its Shield Hand. Proto Andes then fires its Driller Arm, which stocks to Red Baron's chest, causing considerable damage, as well lifting the mecha and spinning it in the air.

While Daigo, Daisaku and Kunamo become decoy towards Proto Andes, Mari and Tetsuya use a Magnetic Power Ray that shutdown the Driller Hand, freeing Red Baron. Ken then uses Baron's thrusters to over heat the shield, destroying it. Now unarmed, Ken is able to grab Proto Andes and tosses it into the air, where Red Baron dispatches the fiend Mecha with Elec-Trigger.

Afterwards, the team gathered for a day of walk, when Ken sees a Milkman much like the one from before, which leads to another, albeit more comedic panic attack.

Appearances: Largely blue scheme, it had a red torso with a white v shape stripe on the chest; it's head was round with large red eyes, spikes on the side of the head and a row of spikes in the back. It sport a Fire emblem on the top of the chest, while it sport a Sun emblem in the abdomen. It had Driller for a right hand and a Shield for a left hand.

Arsenal: Proto Andes could fly, had a shield on the left arm and a five pointed driller on the right which could fly, a further arsenal of cannons run around the wrist which fired projectiles during flight, for further damage; the turrets on the wrist also served as powerful booster, to give lifting power over an enemy.
