For no other point than to practice making characters toony I made this head. I came a crossed an image when I searched “cartoon fox” in google and used that as reference. I don't think I nailed it exactly but I came petty close. Though I draw toony stuff from time to time I don't really sculpt/model it all that often.
Anyway I spent about an hour or so in sculptris and made the head then poly painted it in the same program (after wrestling with it for a good twenty minuets winch I don't count =P ) then tossed it in to Maya and added the toon shader and lines.
IMHO the toon shader on this looks like butt but I'll just write that up to not going into the project with much of a mind for finishing it. For starters the model is all raw triangles from sculptris and absolutely no smoothing applied. That’s not saying much with some sculptris models but, meh, I tried.
Anyway, that’s all from me, onto the nessicary disclosures...

I thought I noted you when I posted this. I've seen some of the gift art you've gotten over the years and I like your character a lot. its cute and simple which makes it a pretty good base for something like this. I hope you don't mind me doing it, in fact you should consider it a piece of gift art for keeping a presence in the community for so long.
